The find of nearly 100 remains in a cave that was used for disposal dating back as far back as 2.8 million years ago was featured in the October issue of National Geographic.
TIME magazine noted that, 鈥淥ne way scientists know they鈥檝e had an impact is if they鈥檝e gotten their peers talking. A better way is getting them arguing. By that measure and others, Lee Berger, a paleoanthropologist at the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa, has had a huge year.鈥
