Summer Camps at The Fulford Center

The Fulford Center is hosting a series of youth summer camps designed for students from first through sixth grade to dive into topics like nature, space, and STEM while building new skills and making new connections. Through hands-on activities, these camps give students the opportunity to learn in creative ways. Whether that means exploring the outdoors, discovering the universe or taking on engineering challenges. Each camp is designed to encourage students to think in new ways, all within a fun and supportive environment. 

Camps Offered

Nature Camp

June 8, 8:30 a.m. – noon

Cost: $25

This camp is open to rising 3rd-6th graders. Nature Camp will introduce students to the natural world through various interactive activities. Many of these activities will be conducted outside. Snacks will be provided. 

Astronomy Camp

June 9, 8:30 a.m. – noon

Cost: $25

This camp is open to rising 1st-2nd graders. Astronomy Camp offers a fun introduction to space, planets and stars. Students will explore the wonders of the universe through various activities. Snacks will be provided.

STEM Discovery Camp

June 15-16, 8:30 a.m. – noon

Cost: $50

This camp is open to rising 3rd-6th graders. STEM Discovery Camp will immerse students in engineering and design challenges with real-world connections while teaching students about STEM-related careers and allowing them to set their own STEM career goals. Snacks will be provided.

June 17, 8:30 a.m.- noon

Cost: $25

This camp is open to rising 1st-2nd graders. This STEM Discovery Camp is designed for younger students to explore science, technology, engineering, art and math. This camp offers hands-on projects and interactive lessons to teach students the foundations of STEM in a fun and engaging way. Snacks will be provided.

Camp Invention

July 6-10, 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Cost: Scholarship

This camp is open to rising 3rd-6th graders. Camp Invention is led by certified local educators and is a confidence-boosting STEM summer camp designed to help students build creative inventions and lasting friendships. Scholarships for this camp are provided through Nordson Corporation. Registration for this camp is limited.
