Georgia Southern psychology graduate aims to impact children鈥檚 lives
Meagan Bailie didn鈥檛 really like working with children when she started school in the Department of Psychology on the Georgia Southern Armstrong Campus. However, after starting her practicum at the Matthew Reardon Early Learning Academy in Savannah, and securing a job there after graduation, she can鈥檛 wait to help students get ready for K-12 education.
Georgia Southern Fashion Merchandising and Apparel Design program ranked 8th in the south by Fashion Schools
Georgia Southern junior Mackenzie Miller aspires to one day own a business in fashion, and she found the Fashion Merchandising and Apparel Design program to be the perfect fit to help her achieve that goal. Miller has gained a lot of experience in the program, which was recently named the eighth best fashion design school in the south by Fashion Schools.
Georgia Southern Armstrong Campus to host mayoral, city council forums
The 快猫app短视 Armstrong Campus will be the site of forums for all of the Savannah city council races, including mayor, district candidates and at large candidates. The forum for mayoral candidates and for districts one and three candidates is Oct. 10, while the forum for at large candidates and for districts two and six candidates is Oct. 17.
Georgia Southern public administration students place first in simulation competition
Last week, 快猫app短视 Master of Public Administration (MPA) students Gina Pate, Austin Hinkley and Colin Karnes placed first in the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA)-Batten Global Student Simulation Competition at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
