University To Host Horizon Saxophone Quartet

Horizon Saxophone Quartet, a component of the United States Air Force Band of the West, will present a concert at 快猫app短视鈥檚 Carol A. Carter Recital Hall on Wednesday, Jan. 28, at 7:30 p.m. This family-friendly performance is free, open to the public and hosted by the University鈥檚 Southern Saxophones ensemble.

MLK Celebration Speaker Moved to Feb. 18

The University has rescheduled its MLK Celebration speaker Michele Norris, the first African-American female host for NPR, until Wednesday, Feb. 18 at 7 p.m.

“We chose Michele Norris because of her reputation, professional accomplishments, and because of her initiative that she started in 2010, the Race Card Project, which encouraged a wider conversation about race among her readers and listeners,鈥 said Dorsey Baldwin, director of the Multicultural Student Center. 鈥淲e鈥檝e even started the Race Card Project on our campus to get honest and open feedback from our students, faculty and staff.鈥

City Campus Plans for Another BIG Global Entrepreneurship Week
